The Iowa Valley Online Learning Program was created to provide students with a flexible educational pathway while continuing to fulfill the mission and vision of the Iowa Valley Community School District. Students enrolled in our online program receive a quality education, individualized support, and the opportunity to learn at a pace and schedule that works best for them. Our online students are held to the same academic expectations and graduation requirements as students attending school in person while benefiting from increased flexibility and personalized learning opportunities. Parent involvement is an important component of student success. How the Program Works Students in the Iowa Valley Online Program access coursework primarily through the SchoolsPLP learning platform. Coursework is available online and can often be completed according to a student's individual schedule while still meeting required pacing and attendance expectations. Program Features: District-issued Chromebook provided to all enrolled students Flexible scheduling and self-paced coursework Regular communication with online instructors Individualized academic planning and counseling Access to extracurricular activities and student organizations Career exploration and post-secondary planning support   Please note: Completion of the application form does not guarantee placement. Eligibility and placement are determined by school administration based on academic needs, space availability, and student support requirements.
