Closing Announcements

There are
times, due to inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances, when
the normal school schedule changes.
When such changes occur,
announcements regarding delays, early-outs and cancellations will
be made via traditional media. In addition, Parents of students in
the Iowa Valley Community School District may sign up FREE for
electronic notification via email, pager and cellular phone.
To use the free
Iowa Valley School Notification Service (SNS), you must have a
computer, pager or cell phone capable of receiving Email. Most
cell phones today have this capability, however not all service
providers offer Email-To-Phone services without an additional
monthly charge. If you are not sure whether your cell phone can
receive Email, contact your Cellular Service Provider.
