Mr. Paul Svare - Home Page

Hello, my name is Paul Svare, I have been teaching Jr. High science at Iowa Valley for 21 years. I teach Life Science which is required science course for 7th grade. Topics covered include, lab safety, handling and care of microscopes, an introduction to general life science, animals, and plants, human biology, and a ecology unit. I also teach Earth Science which is a required course for 8th grade. Topics this class will cover are, study of the universe, earth's matter and origin, cause and effect of erosion, history of the earth, and the atmosphere.
Both classes will include class discussin, lectures, labs, projects and field trips.
In addition to teaching I coach Varsity Football, and Jr. High Basketball and baseball.
