Ms. Sharon Melendy - Home Page

My name is Sharon Melendy and I have worked for the Iowa Valley School District, as an elementary resource teacher, my entire teaching career. I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I received a B.A. in Elementary Education and a M.A. in Special Education. I live in Marengo with Bella, a little Yorkie/Maltese mix, sometimes referred to as a 'Morkie'.

This year I am currently working with 3rd through 6th grade students in the areas of reading, math and written language, depending on the needs of each student. I have learned that each year brings its rewards and challenges and the one thing I can depend on is that I am never bored with my job.
