Welcome to Iowa Valley second grade. I have been proud to call Iowa Valley my career home for the past 32 years. I received my B.A. in Elementary Education:Reading-Spanish Minor from the University of Northern Iowa in 1975. My masters degree, in Developmental Reading is from the University of Iowa (1987). I recently attended several seminars on English Language Learners which will help me meet the needs of all my students. One of the highlights of my career was my teacher exchange to Melbourne, Australia in 1985. Travel has always been an interest of mine and each of my trips has found its way into my classroom.
