Welcome to the Iowa Valley Library Media Center!
I am the district teacher librarian at Iowa Valley and share my time at both the elementary and high school buildings.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with a Reading Endorsement from the University of Iowa; and I received my Master of Arts degree in Library Science from the University of Northern Iowa.
I teach weekly library classes at the elementary (Preschool-6th) which focus on reading for enjoyment, research, and information literacy. I also work with students and teachers at the junior/senior high school with research and reading possibilities. I am always ready to answer any questions and if I don't know the answers I will search until I find them!
I love to read just about anything and also enjoy spending time with my family.
