Greetings Tigers!
I am Mr. Sovers and I teach the 7th and 9th Grade English classes. I've been a member of the Iowa Valley District since 2004.
I am a graduate of the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) where I have earned degrees in Exercise Science (Athletic Training), English, Religion and a Secondary Education Certification.
At the university I worked with the football and basketball teams as an Athletic Trainer. From 1999 to 2001 I was a member of the United States Marine Corps. Following my discharge I received my Secondary Educator's License and worked in the College Community School District until August of 2004, when I began my current position within the Iowa Valley District.
