Mrs. Nancy Frank - Home Page

My name is Nancy Frank and I have been the Family and Consumer Science teacher at Iowa Valley since 1990. I teach 7th grade through 12th grade. 7th and 8th graders take a twelve week exploratory class to introduce them to some of the subjects taught in the high school Family and Consumer Science courses. As a high school student, elective courses available include Creative Living, Food and Nutrition 1 and 2, Child Development, Family Living, and Independent Living. These courses are all semester courses and are offered either first or second semester based on enrollment and scheduling issues. There are no prerequisites for any of the courses, but there are class grade requirements for Child Development (10-12), Independent Living (11-12) and Family Living (11-12).

In 2005, I began teaching Health. One semester of Health is required for high school graduation.

I also serve as Homecoming sponsor.
