Hi, I am Julie Zuber. This is my 5th year at Iowa Valley. I currently work with our preschool program in the mornings, and with our Jr. High/High School students in the afternoon.
I attended Williamsburg High school and graduated from Kirkwood Community College. I have just completed all the requirements earning my national Child Development endorsement. In January, I will begin taking classes through UNI in the evening to finish up my degree.
I now live in Marengo with my husband Mark. We have four children. Our oldest 2 children, Ashley (Bickal) Stukey and Mark Bickal have both graduated and have now moved on creating their own lives. Our younger children are Joseph, 11 who is a 6th grader and Leah, 10 who is a 5th grader at Iowa Valley.
We are a very busy family. Besides working at the school, I am the Vice President of the Iowa Valley PTO, a member of Marengo American Legion Auxiliary, help with our children's sports teams, and assist with our church's Sr. high education and music programs. My hobbies include playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends.
