 "We
can all say that we would not be where we are today if it
weren't for our teachers. They are an extremely important part of our youth
and many of us may not realize the impact that they had on us and the impact
they make on our children today. It is Teachers Appreciation Week and we
want everyone to show teachers' all over the world that they are
appreciated.

teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next

Iowa Valley High School
Sophomores– Seniors will have an opportunity to
explore the career of their choice in the 2013-2014 school
year. On August 29, 2013, Workplace Learning Connection will
be at Iowa Valley High School to
 present
opportunities to job shadow or do an internship. Students
will be placed at area businesses for a one-day experience
throughout the school year. Job Shadows and Internships are
considered excused absences from the regularly scheduled
school day. WLC partners with Iowa Valley to prepare today’s
students for tomorrow’s careers. To learn more, go to
